I'll clarify. I had a major oneitis on a girl in my school (yes I know dont shit where you eat, 17 years of age for reference) and in most of my classes. Since she saw me as a friend she got weirded out by my advances, and I decided to cut her out of my life like a cancer.
When the whole storm / drama died down, she wanted to "reconnect" with me as a friend, and start saying that I'm "nice" and a super kind guy and she'd like to hang out at school with me - at least, that's what she tells my sister. After the fiasco I never hanged out with her or anybody from her circle, but am brief and cordial in my interactions with them.
I have boundaries though, and find it lacking in self-respect to go back to somebody that I really wanted something more from, hanging out with someone who was repulsed by her orbiter having sexual desires, when I can find girls who I can start off with on a clean slate and who actually desire me.
Did I deal with this correctly? I am not mad at her or anything, for clarification, but how would you have gone about this?
