The problem here is that you belive Slave Morality is only morality and any alternative is "dark triad edgy edge". You can either strive for greatness or cater down to the needs of unwashed wallmart normies.

You're just supposed to develop your own character while having high confidence. 90% of all advice on this sub and the main sub is full of shit. You can be feminine and get women, you can give lots of attention like a needy person and get women. To attract all kinds of women one approach won't ever work, TRP only works on club girls. Showing a vulnerable side of yourself can be one of the best ways to make someone like you, whether it's a woman or a man.

Being truthful will give you respect from the people you need and will make people you don't need in your life dislike you, it's a win-win. Successful people only seem cold, they're just practical and realistic. They're also more honest in my experience than other people. There's no reason for a successful person to deceive or fake compassion, that's why they seem cold. People who don't seem cold are mostly likely faking it.

I'll be honest, this is one I struggle with as well. Which is why TRP in practice and TRP in theory can be so different. In real world applications the world painted on the main sub can be hard to reconcile. I'm going to pen down some thoughts, I may be right or wrong, and I look forward to discussing this further.

The red pill is essentially about power. In the central case, about power in heterosexual relationships. Who has that power and how they wield it. It provides general principles and some particular heuristics to live by. All of this is meant to help you attain the life you want to lead, particularly in terms of love or sex life, by presenting you with a particular true reality or world view that can be subscribed to. The aim is to force you to think for yourself and to realise that in today's world, the world we're told we live in and values long espoused do not hold the same strength they used to, due to a widespread cultural tectonic shift and the now much more complex nature of personal and geopolitical power structures. Everything's grey. What used to black is now white and what used to be white is now black. This tectonic, fundamental change in cultural and geopolitical paradigms have meant that old power structures that were reliable and largely relied on for personal and societal compass for moral action, such a step religion or god fearing, man of the house, male action and entrepreneurship, values of merit instead of multiculturalism for the sake of it for example, cannot be relied upon for the future to provide success, or a sure life. In times of uncertainty such as ours, people, being people, at their core self-serving and essentially cowardly, that is to say concerned with survival, when the social contract strains they begin to turn to Hobbesian pre-contractual models of social relations, based on power, strength and almost tribal modes of recognition of power. When people fear, like they do now when they don't recognise their countries, they don't recognise their economies and their relationships with it, they turn for their survival and replication to those displaying the most immediate survival and replication value. In this case, strong, self-centred men I.e. The dark triad. These people get ahead because they can, because people see them as strong, because people want them to, and because people see value for themselves in aligning with them. When you have an opinion among sheep, you are the king. When most people live in fear and abide by the social contract out of their fear of rejection and need for social acceptance, those who can master this fear and "help" the fearful by providing the anchor of their own certainty rise as gods. Until the next one.

So to answer your question, those values of compassion, of turning the other cheek, of societal accepted values, of good religious values, made sense in a world sure of itself and where it was headed. In today's world, no. In today's world, night is right where there is no reliable power structure that survives untrained. So be mighty, powerful, fearless in physique and mind. Does that mean that these older values have no place? Of course they have some value, but only as temporary bridges for necessary mutually beneficial connections, and to manipulate, and make better. They are no longer the foundation.

In practice however, this must be applied judiciously. For the soul is a wonderous thing. It was made to remain whole, and when we act against ourselves, we cleave ourselves, mutate ourselves, move away from ourselves. We lose ourselves. So live life to the fallest, be happy, and compassionate, and turn the other cheek. But only, and only, to further yourself, because you want to, and not because these values have any deep meaning. Rejoice in your brother and be happy, but know that when push comes to shove, you may have to kill your brother to survive, don't be a fool and beckon that day unnecessarily or do it for any reason not you, but be prepared to do it.
