She's a plate, not your girlfriend.Why the hell do you owe her text conversations where you ask about her life? She can talk about her life with her girlfriends or all of the sad loser guys she's not fucking.

She said something annoying. And instead of ignoring it or blowing it off by addressing the fact that she was upset with amusement, you directly addressed the substance of her argument.

Not only did you directly address the substance of her argument. You did so by explaining yourself, justifying, and making an excuse about how busy you are.

She responded as all women do when you fail their tests by losing attraction for you and backing away.

The correct response would have been to ignore. You did what most men do in this situation: respond with logic and reason (I am busy with my business). WRONG!

I actually had my main plate throw this one out a while back when we were at dinner. We had been fucking for around 2 months at that point. I was talking about my work when she interjected with the "they say you can tell how little someone cares by how much they ask about you." I simply responded with "oh, okay" and continued eating as if nothing was the matter.

Later in the car, she said "I know I was a little pissy back there, but I want to talk about where this relationship is going." So we ended up having an adult conversation about the topic and the issue was resolved amicably. It could have easily turned into an argument, though.

Usually when girls say dumb shit like this, it is simply them acting out frustrations about some other matter. Ask her if there's something she wants to talk about with you. If still childish, ignore and wait for her to bring up the real issue in due course.
