This past Saturday night, I was doing DoorDash and was on my final delivery for the night. Picked up an order from a burger joint and as I was heading out, one of the cashiers complimented me on my hoodie. I returned after the delivery to get her number and asked her when she gets off work the next day. She replied "at 8" and I let her know I'd text to confirm and that we'll figure something out.

Come the following day, and I forget to text that morning until I finally show up at the place when I say that I'm outside the restaurant and to meet me when she's ready. She replies almost an hour later saying that she's at a different location (same restaurant chain). I reply with "I'm in [nearby city name]. You able to meet there?" She then said "can we try tomorrow?" And that she was waiting for me to text cuz she was at the other location that day. I replied with "I can't do tomorrow. How about Tuesday at 7?" She agreed and added "I don't know if you noticed but I got red af when you asked for my number." I joked with her about it, calling her a tomato. She asked for my name and I gave her an obvious fake name but she didn't seem to catch on. Also, I said we're meeting in my neck of the woods, which is a city across the bridge from hers. I really only go there for work but I don't mind too much to meet her out there since there's some chill spots and fun stuff to do. I just feel like that's already me falling into her frame.

This whole time, I'm trying to figure out her logistics, such as transportation (I have a car but I wanted to see how she'd be getting out here). She then hits me with "I can't stay out too late lmao"

Should I just next? I feel like I've already gone through too much bullshit for this one bitch. I sensed high interest at first but after all this back and forth, I'd rather just not deal with it and spend my time doing something more productive. Also, I'm aware that my humor is hard to grasp at times and I end up having to explain myself, but I feel like it's cringe as fuck to do over text if I want this to go anywhere.
