You should be "like ice" over text and not the other way around, save the talking until you meet. If you were needy in the past that's what she'll expect. It's always a bad idea IMO to reinitiate contact with an ex but as an Alpha at the end of the day you do what you want. Treat the meeting like a girl you just met, keep your guard high and don't get into your feelings and let the old needy you creep back in. Also cut out voice notes, it really is over investing. Bad idea, she will never look at you in a new light, she will still remember all the shit you guys went through. Girls have a way of forgetting most of the good stuff quickly but remembering all of the bad.

From my own experience, I have tried to get back with a oneitis ex three times and it never went further than her flaking after we had sex and telling me it's too soon, only for her to text me telling me she misses all the stuff we had and she wants to meet me. After seeing that she was just playing me for attention, I realized that going back is really not worth it.

At the worst, just keep quiet and let her come to you, and just plate her for sex only. Otherwise move on and find newer girls whom you can enjoy coz you've learnt important lessons from your relationship with your ex.
