I’m in a 4 months relationship. During the week she works and lives 2 hours away.

She gets back home on Friday, where she lives with her dad. We see each other on the weekend (I stay at her place).

Yesterday while we were having a videocall, I don’t remember what was the topic but she told me that a colleague proposed to her as a joke.

I told her in a funny way to send me some wedding cake and that I hope he’s handsome, at least. She replied he some belly as she likes.

I kept it cool but was dying inside. In fact I guess I became colder in the conversation. Eventually we went to sleep.

Come today I decided to silence all communication, be distant as you guys teach. But I guess I was only butthurt. She sent me a morning text later than usual, to which I replied with “morning”. Nothing more till now (late afternoon).

How did I handle it and what should I do from now?

I’m focusing on my career and health (mental and physical), so I’d appreciate advices on how to be a rock mentally.
