started working out last year. started with mild cardio at home to help condition some endurance for riding bikes. slowly got into wanting to build my pecs by doing pushups/pull ups... this transitioned into getting weight vests and medicine balls to up the progress with some weight. it has worked out well!

the problem: ive been getting ill a lot the last few months. fighting cold/flu. during the time of being down, i stopped working out and have found it extremely difficult to get motivated to work again. working long hours, i find myself exhausted when i get home. i know i can do it... but what are you doing for motivation when you dont really FEEL you have it that day. i know its mostly mental. and pre-workout can help boost the energy. but i want to try to avoid the caffeine route.

also, as a side question. since i enjoy working out from home, i vary cardio/core with an tweeked insanity program - works well for me along with additional planking and crunches. but is there anything else i can do from home without getting a ton of equipment, to get some more tone in chest/shoulders, other than weighted push ups and pull ups? i dont have room for a bench or any equipment really. and i dont really want to bulk up huge. just tone and definition. which i feel can be accomplished from home.
