Hi, first time asking a question on here.

A little backstory, there's a girl I know who invited me to her school formal (basically highschool prom) at the end of last year which I went with her to (I was still beta as fuck then though), and at the end of the night I asked her if I could kiss her and she was like 'What? No!'.

It shook me up pretty badly so I cut off contact (we also went to different universities which helped), but she recently started messaging me through facebook again, so I asked her out and she was really receptive and I told her I'd pick her up from her place.

So I guess my question is, this time should I just kiss her without 'asking for permission' first, and then just let the chips fall where they may? Would love to hear some experiences of how similar situations went for people.
