Cold approach helps with everything. The first time you tied your shoes you took forever, now you probably tie them without even looking. Once you approach enough you’ll do it without hesitation. I’m not just talking about women. Many opportunities to make connections are squandered due to hesitation. Besides autistic Silicon Valley millionaires most have to be very social to grow their business into an empire. Who gives a shit about the virus.

"learning cold approach" sounds somewhat autistic, which is probably why it makes you feel uncomfortable. rather than that, just learn how to talk to people/strangers in general. assuming you're putting the work in, you have so much to offer and they have so much to offer you, and there are millions of them. most people will feel very at ease if you speak to them in a natural way. it's when you look like you're trying to get something from them that the problems start. it's a great skill to learn. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

the first thing you need to get out of your way is approach anxiety. approach anxiety is a natural filter that makes you less likely to talk to strangers. the best way to move past this is to practice talking to strangers at networking events. talk to every store-owner you meet. in other words, talk to people who do not intimidate you. move up from that. start talking to some women that aren't that attractive. just learn that asking for directions isn't actually that scary, and neither is getting rejected. start talking to more and more. get some rejections from hot women. eventually you'll get a number or two.

It only probably took me 2 years to really get comfortable with it and to totally lose approach anxiety, but it took me 4-5 years to become an expert.

Cold approach works if you're at least a real 7/10 It's not worth it in the long run.
