I think you have the wrong outlook. If you're not enjoying yourself, go do something else. You're entering the parties frame instead of incorporating the party in your life.

BUT don't leave before you do a few approaches and at least try to be social. If you want to leave because you are anxious, then STAY and face your anxiety. But, If you want to stay because you think "you might get laid." That attitude is needy, especially if in your heart you want to do something different with your time.

Whenever you feel like it. I don't do the party thing much, and if I do go, I usually show up, hang out a little bit and talk to some people and leave like maybe an hour later, if that long. I just have other shit to do. If you want to hang out longer or get there earlier or whatever, then do that.

To be honest, it's all about the mentality that you have going into the party. Go into a party with your friends and have the motive and attitude to fuck shit up and have a good time with your friends. If you're with a girl, make it a fun night for both of you. Don't go into a party with the mentality of "oh yeah I'm def gonna smash some thotties, bros". You'll only focus on one thing, and you'll be putting pussy before having fun and having a good time. So to answer your question, go into a party and try to have a good time, and don't make getting laid your priority.

I usually end up staying up all night until the sun comes up lol. I usually keep myself pretty entertained though. I also have this weird thing where I don't want to leave because I feel like I'm "missing out" on something or whatever. Either way just do what you want and head out when you aren't having fun anymore.
