In a way you're right. You can be jacked but if you have a bad personality, ugly face, a reputation as an abuser, short, poor, live at home, have no other hobbies, no job... it's not gonna help a whole bunch. But it's still going to help.

There is no silver bullet. If you got all or most of your shit in line and lift also it's going to help a bunch. Not just with looking better but feeling better and being more confident.

I'm 6'1, 150, skinny "cut" lol Or what I like to call "Abs of Famine" I hit the gym 5 days a week just to feel good. I refuse to eat 6 meals a day and pound shakes to get "swole" I just try to keep my body defined and ass firm. I eat clean and take tons of vitamins/supplements. I'm a healthy, clean living, skinny..pretty..dude.

I'm only at RP cause I'm a mental case lol Imposter syndrome and frame issues.

Lifting is the foundation from which you learn discipline, healthy choices, routine, and a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Is it the only way to build these things? Surely not. Is it the easiest and most universally applicable to everyone who reads this sub? I would say yes.

Status is definitely king.

BUT lifting makes you more attractive which increases initial attraction and availability of women around you as well as increasing confidence. The more attractive you are, the less status and game are necessary.

Lifting also slows aging, keeps you healthy, gives you strength applicable to areas of life outside the gym, and prevents other guys from fucking with you (mostly). Looking good also gets the benefit of the halo effect.
