Senior in H.S and have about half a year to apply for something. I am not that stupid and can go into pretty much any field but am seriously considering the trades, specifically an electrician. I don't think I could sit behind a desk all day everyday but I want to have a good life with a lucrative job.

Am looking for someone to give me some advice and maybe share your experience about the trades or schooling in general. I am from Canada if that helps.
