before i started my first business i signed up for a business seminar at my local community college. it was like a 1 weekend, couple hours a day thing. they mostly focus on teaching you how to create a tangible business plan that a bank will find appropriate. you also practice pitching to each other and learn strategies and angles. work on honing your niche. it wasnt very expensive, and i learned a lot. well worth it

Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki is a good start. Also Rich Dad Poor Dad. Definitely read on investing as well as your niche. There are tons of ways to escape wage slavery. The hardest part for me was getting the balls to go out there and commit. But it felt amazing when I landed my first client.
