LTR of about a year tells me about a lounge private party a week ago. We are both 26. She texted me at 5 PM asking if I was going with her. I told her no I wasn’t going. She ignores my text. My dumbass decides to go surprise her later that night at the lounge. I get there and her girlfriends are talking standing up but she’s not there. I walk towards the back and I see her sitting down a little bit too close to some dude that is kinda a friend. Im not sure if this dude was there with one of her girlfriends but either way it seemed sketchy. But I felt disrespected and she was a little surprised. “Hey you made it.. this is Chris (made up name) I was like yeah I met him before. I didn’t look at him he didn’t look at me. I told her to come get a drink with me. We walk to the bar and she could sense I felt some type of way. She asked me if I was okay I told her yeah just wanted to grab a drink. I literally took a shot and drank a beer in less than 3 minutes while she was making small talk with me. I look towards the other side of the bar and the dude she was sitting down with was looking right at me. But yeah anyway I told her I had to go so I walked out. She followed me asking what was wrong and I was jus like nothing I have work in the AM I have to go. She wouldn’t let me close the car door. Asking if I was at least seeing her this weekend. I told her we’ll see. Now I don’t know what to fucking do. I thought that dude was her friends boyfriend. I really don’t know. I may have over reacted I don’t fucking know. I thought a boundary was crossed. She texted me when I was driving home “wish you stayed, idk why you’re acting like this i sat on that couch alone all night. Just drive home safe”. Clearly she wasn’t alone. What do I now ? I feel stupid as fuck
