Been RP for awhile now, and have managed to be pretty successful. Recently, I was hitting on a girl at a party and tried to take her home. Was giving her shit and she was eating it up, but then she let slip she had a boyfriend. Tried to push through the resistance, but to no avail. Ended up just letting it go and going home for the night.

However, a few weeks later, I find out she’s been telling people that I creeped on her and acted inappropriately towards her (I didn’t do anything that could really be considered inappropriate, just had my arm around her waist). I’m still in college, with only a semester left to go, and I’ve been informed that she can file a Title IX complaint against me (though as I understand she has no intention to). Understandably, in the time we live in, I’m a little spooked.

Since then, I’ve been at bars and parties where there have been girls interested in me, but I just can’t bring myself to pull the trigger. I just keep imagining myself getting #MeToo’d. Has anyone been through this? Would appreciate any advice about how to get my mojo back.
