I’m 27 yo. been in LTR for about a year with 24 yo.

Situation: her father had an affair half a year ago with his coworker at his company and her family is coping with it. So before 6 months she made a harmful annonymouce comment on the guilty lady in the company’s public records. Her farther suspects her and so forth.

Now: she has to have a talk with her father because they all 3 (father, LTR and affair lady) work at his company and the situation is intense. She is complaining and annoying. I try not to feed her insecurities. So, was telling her to come out clean at tell her father. But she plainly told to “DO NOT TELL ME WHAT TO DO”

So, I broke the interest and made the excuse to go out.

My inner conflict is that she is betraying the trust with her father and could do the same to me. I don’t want for her to develop such traits.

I should meet her in town in an hour. What should I do or say?
