Long story short. I had a rotation of plates and one of them I have been seeing for a year now. This February, we became exclusive ( I vetted her for a year now, passed every test, submissive as fuck) and became "boyfriend-girlfriend". After a month and a half of dating exclusively, she tells me that she does not want to hold me back (I have a really high drive), she can't handle a relationship (full-time job + full-time student) but still wants to casually date me. Is she just trying to ride the carousel? Her N count is low too as she barely goes out, and extremely shy.

Context: She is extremely insecure and depressed (like which girl isn't? jk). Yes, I read the sidebar, I just have never heard of a girl downgrading a guy to a plate after being exclusive. Could this be me losing frame? Just curious about your guy's thoughts.
