LTR’ed this girl a while back. We click very well together and get along great. The only problem is she gets jealous very easily.

There’s this girl at the gym who has fucked two of LTR’s previous boyfriends. LTR has a great passion of hate towards her. I used to talk to her at the gym every time I would see her before meeting LTR. I kind of stopped talking to her after finding out about this and just out of respect.

Today, she was at the gym. It was packed and the bench I needed was right next to her and I took it. I didn’t make eye contact or talk to her. After my second set, LTR comes up to me and shit tests me I believe. She says “Are you serious?”

Me: “What?”

LTR: “Did you talk to her or did she talk to you?” (She was kind of smiling a little but like pissed off I can’t believe you did that smile)

Me: (here’s where I kind of fucked up) I hesitated and was kind of smiling because I couldn’t believe she would get mad over this. “No”

LTR: “see how I’m standing? I know you’re lying”

Me: “you serious? I didn’t talk to her” and I was still kind of smiling

LTR just walked away and is still mad and obviously doesn’t want to make conversation with me

I didn’t lie to her and she believes I did and is mad. She is Snapchat texting another guy or two which started like a day ago. I don’t believe she plans to branch swing. She is very honest and hasn’t lied at all during our relationship. She really wants a relationship with me and tries hard at it.

How do I handle this? If it was a regular girl, I wouldn’t care but I don’t talk to her out of respect since she despises her.
