Studying political science is basically being a woman. Wasting taxpayer money on subsidizing a degree you’ll never fucking pay back. Outside of engineering, the value of college for a career is extremely dubious.

Okay so, you need to ask yourself, "What do I want to do?" And be honest with yourself.

Do you want money? Chances are, PoliSci is not the route for you. Might you get lucky? Yeah. But chances are, you'll waste your money and end up at DQ. So what might interest you? We'll always need Engineers. Always.

Aerospace is taking off in the next several decades and now is the time to get your foot in the door. Electrical Engineers should always be able to find a job, our world runs on electricity.

Computers are the foundation of the modern word. Programming, CS, Computer Engineering, these are all valuable.

Accountants make big money if you like math.

You already know the answer to this one.

Do you want to have a much easier time at getting a job and paying off your loans? Pick the latter.

If not pick the former. Most PolSci majors I know had to go to grad school to get a decent gig. My niece was one and she has been out of college for a year going on two with good internships and still can't land a job that pays no more then $15 per hour.

Only go Poly Sci if you plan on going to law school. Other than that it's useless.

What do you want to be when you finish?

Whatever it is, look up the types of degrees they are looking to hire people from.

I wasted 6 years of my life and 80k on a bullshit major that has gotten me nowhere in life. The frame that holds my degree is worth more than the degree itself.

Don't make the same mistake I made.
