So yesterday i was invited by friends at my jov to go to a pub that will have Irish folk group concert. I don't drink, like i don't EVER drink, so i was the only one out of 7 guys at my table that wasn't drinking beer. By sheer coincidence there was a table with 5 girls. I knew one of them (HB 910). In fact I made my approach to start dating her few years back, but she rejected me. That was before i found this sub :)

So the music goes off and she goes dancing (she's a professionnal dancer) so she immediately got everyoone's attention. Back in the day I wouldn't even bother getting of table, because I don't know how to dance. But hell, i figured why not? Me and my bros went dancing as well, but they intentionally made the distance between me and her closer. It was a crazy night, concidering the fact that i absolutely don't know how to dance, especially those irish dances. When we did that thingy dance when you and your parner grab each other with elbow dance and switch directions I unintentiaonnaly touched her boob numerous times, becuase i'm a studd and clamsy.

Closer to the end during the final dance I was holding her hand and she was spinning around mine and i somehow broke her ring. Her hoes immidietly booed me. As it turned out it was a birthday present from her dance group. She was fine with it at first but i could see she was frustrated.

But i figured this might be an opportunity and I approached her after the dance and said:

"Look, I'm sorry about your ring, how about I call a cab afterwards and get you home."

And her friends started yelling on me:

"Hey! that was out birthday present for her! get her a new ring!"

I was like:

"Ok! Where's the nearest 247 ring shop? We'll ride there and get you a new ring right now"

HB9:

"Alright, of course i'm frustrated asshole (this was said in a friendly manner). Grab a cab and deal with a ring later".

There were other guys trying to approach her. When cab arrived and me and her group headed towards the exit some guy went up to her and proposed to escort her home. I didn't see that at first as I was walking first. When I turned and saw that she said that I already got a cab and i have to compensate her for the ring. He tried to tell something like "Let me compensate you the ring" To which she refused, kissed him in his cheek and told good bye.

So we all get in a cab, she seems a bit drunk. tells that her head aches. While we were driving she received 2 phone calls - one being her dad and one maybe her boyfriend(?!). I decided now to ask who that was as she kept her conversation short and simple with second call just telling that she was heading home on a taxi. So taxi arrives at her proch and she says

"Please make sure I get in safe" She was felling dizzy from what I could see. I walk her to her door and tell that i will give her the substitute ring when she's in our gym. She gives dancing classes at our gym, frankly she got her job there because of me - few years back they had an open position and I was first to tell her. She assumed they wouldn't accept her, but hell - few years passed and she's still working in there.

What frustrated me that she didn't even kiss me goodbye. Frankly i didn't feel like moving in just for a "friendly" like goodbye kiss in the cheek would be good considering how unstable she was on the stairs.

I intend to buy the ring i broke and give it to her, but still I don't have a clue if i should make more percisting move. I don't know if she's currently dating someone or not. Should i just get her the ring and move on or use this next interaction to make a better move?
