I don't want to hear moralizing bs. Here's the circumstances:

26 years old. Had sex unprotected, pulled out, and girl missed period next month. Its possible I'm the father. The baby would ideally be born in February 2018. She had sex with multiple guys that month. However, after talking with her, she said, "You can get a DNA test when the baby's born but if you don't want to I'm honestly not that worried about it." I told her that this was very considerate of her and that's all I said. We've known each other for 5 years. She knows my first and last name.

I feel like once she realizes the financial, emotional, and time burdens of raising a kid, she's going to change her tune and potentially try to get me to take a paternity test in the future. We don't live in the same state (I'm 9 hours away).

I see this going three ways: (1) she's too naive to realize the kind of capacity she has to gouge me for money and does nothing, (2) She petitions me for child support whereby I have to take a paternity test, and (3) some cuck steps in.

Can she legally put my name down as the putative father, put my name on the birth certificate, or do anything without my consent that would set in motion a legal journey?

Should I talk to her again and tell her explicitly not to put my name down on the birth certificate? Should I ghost her and change my number? Or, should I drill into her mind that I'm a fucked up person and my involvement would jeopardize her and the kids life/developement.

Let me know TRP, thanks.
