Are your parents still together? It is very common for alpha widow moms to try to turn their sons into beta pussies. It’s because she’s post wall. She’s telling you to do what betas do to get post wall women who can no longer attract alphas. She’s doesn’t even realize she’s setting you up for failure. They don't *want* you to be a soyboy, they just have no ability to separate their advice from their own situation. You mom is saying what she would like a guy she is attracted to to do (though what she thinks and what she reacts to are likely very different). She can't even comprehend that you are talking about how to get girls who are not attracted to you.

Because women have absolutely no idea what they actually want.

Mothers, except those mentally ill ones, want the best for their kids. They don't know that they are preaching the wrong stuff.
