Girl with baggage (one ex) tries to get back with me (I had rejected her few years back). At first I was playing it(she treated me like absolute god) , but after a few dates, I felt like we had this connection and could make it. Then she gets a call from ex, about him seeing us make out in the public place. Although she isn't going back to him, he's still occupying her headspace 3 months post breakup. The third date she tells me she's not ready for LTR and I should have come in her life 2 months later when she's clear of the mess, and her headspace is not good right now.

Been reading trp for a while, and I have a side chick who gives me unwarranted attention(so did this one above before the incident) but I just got emotionally invested too much now in this girl now even though I know it's just oneitis creeping up. Today I did the cringiest thing by calling her up and telling that she can come back when her headspace is right and that the door's open for some time. She did jealous over me posting an insta pic with another girl meanwhile but is there a way out? Or should I bail? This is quite depressing bros, please help.
