It seems to me like there are a couple conflicting ideas about texting. I've read that texting should only be for logistics but have also read a whole list of what to do while texting. So what gives?

On another note, I matched with a girl on tinder and set up a date pretty quickly. Now, should I message her a little until Friday or just wait till Friday to message her to confirm the date?
