First let me prepend this by saying: I'm new to this and not very good at it. I have decent looks but also some insecurities and inexperience that are holding me back. I'm trying to get better by reflecting on every encounter I have and learning from it, so any feedback you have will be helpful.

I matched with a girl on bumble or tinder about a month or two ago, she seemed flakey/hard to meetup with, but I finally setup a date with her last weekend.

Because of her flakey nature, I planned on making it a quick and easy date, with a backup plan to go out with some friends in case she didn't show. We went to a free museum, but we were only there for 30 minutes before it closed(we both got delayed by traffic.)

After that I suggest taking her out downtown. She just moved to the city, and lived in the suburbs so I'd thought I'd show her around some of the nightlife and see where that went.

First we parked our cars at my place and hit up one of my favorite spots for dinner, we were vibing decently, and I decided to pay the meal even after she made an offer to split(a mistake in retrospect), I expected her to want to go home after(we'd already been out for 3+ hours at this point), but she seemed to want to stay out so I took her to a bar and bought drinks(paying for them probably another mistake), we go bar hopping a bit, taking turns buying drinks. It seems like we were still getting along quite well, and at about midnight, 6 hrs after we initially met up, I suggest we head back to my place.

Once we get there I invite her inside to get some water before she drives home. Once inside, I got her a glass of water, and put on some tv and sat on the couch by myself. She comes over to join me. We watch some netflix for a while with my arm around her(an hour almost, another mistake) and eventually I start making out with her.

It's immediately clear that she's been waiting for me to do this, I go down on her until she cums and then we fuck. I was pretty tired by this point, so the sex might not have been my best performance ever but it certainly wasn't bad, and she definitely seemed into.

After I finished did some minor bedtalk/cuddling/kissing(possibly another mistake). I let her know she can spend the night, but she says she'll drive home instead.

So was that was that. Now, considering the girl was very attractive, and that I thought we had some chemistry, I was definitely looking forward to having her around as at least a plate.

Next day I texted her that I had a good time.Day after that I tell her to let me know when she's free next weekend, and we'll do something again. She texted me back saying that while it was nice meeting me she really wasn't feeling it and didn't want to see me again.

Now, a lot of people will ask what's the big deal because I got laid. But this whole encounters has been really bothering me not just because the rejection afterwards, I can deal with rejection, but because I didn't see it coming it at all. It freaks me out that I can be that socially oblivious to the lack of attraction between us, because if I'm not noticing want went wrong how can I fix it next time?

So in retrospect this is where I think I lost might have down to lose attraction: 1) Paying for drinks and meals as it shows I'm invested in her. 2) Staying out with her too long on a Saturday night, once again, too much of a time investment for someone I just met. 3)Taking too long to physically escalate, barely kino'd while we were out at the bars, took over an hour to makeout with her back at my place. 4)Maybe the sex just wasn't good enough? Clearly the attraction was there as she was ripping my clothes off and riding me like a horse, but I had only slept four hours the night before and as it was getting late I might honestly have been worse then I realized 5)Cuddling/handholding/kissing/general beta behaviour post hookup. 6) Texting too soon afterwards. 7) It may have been other factors out of my control.

Many of these questions may come off as stupid, but I am new to this and I desperately want to get better. Any feedback on how to handle things on the future would be greatly appreciate.
