Aight so I met this artist at a art event. I talked for a bit with her since our styles were similar. We seemed to click but some buddies of mine who knew her came by and broke up the conversation. I thought nothing of it and went to game everyone else present. Got a number and free piece of art. (Which was a shocker seriously game everyone)

But I wanted to re-approach the first one. My buddies were pretty much over there talking with her the whole night. But I thought man F it. I approached and said something stupid like we should talk about art and such sometime. That I'd like to go on a date with her too.

She hit me with "we definitely can talk but I'm 100% focused on my art". Shit test? She gave me her instagram because she said she definitely wants to talk sometime about art. I had to leave so that's it.

How do I go about this? I feel my initial approach was messed up by my obnoxious friends. After they left and I gamed everyone I could I just thought why not try again. Good idea?
