Hi,

To summarize, I dated a girl I met at a nightclub. We went on the first date on a Wednesday night, and everything seemed fine. She was talking more than I was, and I made sure I came off as aloof through out the date to make it seem like I was in control.

I walked her to her place, then parted ways with a hug. She told me to text her once I got home, which I did.

The next day, I asked her to meetup during the weekend. I asked her to go out to a nice distillery area in my city, and here's the text convo in a nutshell:

Me: Hey L, let's checkout the distillery district this weekend.

L: Hey! This weekend is actually really bad for me, another day?

Me: No prob. Maybe next Wednesday?

L: Wednesday I already have plans in the evening.

L: I'm just going to a client meeting lemme take a look when I get back at my sched

Me: Ok cool

L: I think the distillery distillery district might be a bit difficult to do next week. I'm just out at this client in (location withheld) and next week if he gets me all the information I need I'll be working most nights because we are really behind based on his filing deadline (it's one parent company, 6 subsidiaries, and 3 joint ventures consolidated). I can try for maybe Tuesday or Thursday I just hate making plans and then having to cancel. I honestly won't know better until next week when I see what I get from him

Me: That's cool...I don't want to add anymore stress for you. Let me know next week of a time that works...it'll be fun :)

Now, it's Sunday afternoon, and I still haven't got a response from her. I have a feeling I screwed this up.

Should I text her back? Should I wait?...or, should I just completely forget it as a lost cause.

Sorry, I'm new to red pill, so this may seem really naive to post.

Alright, so I got a text back from her. Here's how it went down:

L: Hey you how was your weekend?

Me: Hey, good..(local sports team) and (another local sports team) won lol

Me: How was your weekend?

L: Yeah :) hopefully the (local sports team) can win tonight too! My weekend was good really busy but that's sorta how I like it lol. What did you get up to?

Me: I'm sure they will :) I just went to a friend's Christmas partry on Saturday, then had dinner at my parents on Sunday. How's work going?

L: Good! Except we are so behind on stuff. And we are finding so many errors. Today I caught an overpayment of (large sum).

L: Like how do you almost overpay someone by that much

L: And the check was signed and everything

Me: Bahaha....can only image the person's face when you show that...at least you have a sense of humor about it lol

Me: L, I know you're super busy with work, so I was just wondering if you want to get together for lunch this week...I mean, we kinda work near each other..your call though.

L: Why don't we do Thursday night?

Me: Sounds good. Let's grab drinks at (local bar) at 8 if that works.

L: Sure nice and close :)

Me: Cool :)

I think this went well and I'm surprised to see how this went down given some of the bleak opinions of how the initial bit of conversation went!
