I fucked up and at 26 all I have is an English major. The pay is shit and I don't really like teaching. I figured 2 best options right now is nursing or programming. What would you suggest? I'm an introvert and enjoy spending the day indoors, but I hear people nowadays saying that the software developer field is over saturated and fear for job security, especially now that I'm older and by the time I get good I'd probably be in my 30s. If I were to become a nurse though, the hours would probably suck ass, I'd be stressed out, but I don't think I'd stay unemployed for long and become homeless, unless I'd become physically unable to do the job.
