One of my plates texts me while im at work saying "What are you doing after work"

I respond way later in the afternoon saying "have a few errands to run, whats up"

(I had plans with another plate already coming over later that night + gym)

She responds saying she has a bad day (im thinking here we go, vent incoming)

I ask "Why"

Then she goes on to tell me how her and her ex-boyfriend/fling of 2 years ago aren't friends anymore and that she is hurting.

Once I read that, I was like fuck this drama and I didn't sign up for this, nor do I understand why she is telling me this - I ignored, went to the gym, had my other plate over. At midnight, she calls me (obviously I do not answer). I message her in the morning saying "Missed you call was asleep, whats up?" - No response all day.....

Any opinions on this and how to proceed? If the plate is broken whatever....just I have not encountered this where a plate asked what I was doing after work, and then brought up an ex-fling etc.
