I’m not one for online dating, but the pandemic has made me resort to it. I match with beautiful women, get their snapchats, and I text a little bit to build rapport but mostly keep the convo to logistics. However despite them showing interest initially, I somehow frequently have them losing interest. My success rate is low...for example, this chick matched me, was laughing at whatever I said (based on her text responses), and I tried to schedule a date for this weekend. She said she was only free Wednesday through Friday. This couldn’t work for me because I’m finishing some final exams for my summer classes on these days this week. However, I found out that I would be able to finish early on Friday, so the next day I tried to schedule something for this upcoming Friday. She said “can’t Friday”, despite telling me she was free Friday. Oh well, she must’ve made other plans. I sent her a single snap of me after my haircut and she left me on opened.

Another chick, I tried setting a date with her but it turned out she lived 3 hours from me. It took us 2 entire days to have one normal length convo because she takes 6 hours to reply to my messages.

Another girl I met prior to my surgical operation a month ago. I told her that I was going to be out of commission for a while but afterwards we could link and she was seemingly 100% down for that. So now that I’m feeling better, I asked her if she was still in town and she still hasn’t opened my message for over a day despite posting to her story and viewing mine. She also left me on read when I replied to her story a few days ago.

I just don’t fucking understand it. Am I just an incredibly boring person? I almost always make them laugh first a little, and understand that I’m a playful yet calm and laid back guy, and then I make sure I only text for logistics so that I don’t lose attraction through text and they can experience my personality in person. But I never get to seeing them in person. I’m kind of losing interest in online dating now and just want to approach women in person. It’s depressing.
