I'm a 50/50 INTJ and INTP but I occasionally get ENTJ. I think they are reliable as far as core tendencies go but don't define yourself by them. Your personality can change drastically over time for a variety of reasons.

These tests are fucking autistic. You don't need a test defining you. You make your personality what you want. I used to be introverted and a huge pussy who'd let people walk all over them. You need to nut up and not let this shit define you. Look this retarded quiz in the face and laugh than go change your introverted shit. Approach, speak to people, force it until its normal. Don't lock yourself into personality types.

I'm split between INTJ and ENTJ (because I'm an ambivert). It's really good to know what your personality type is so that you can be aware of your natural strengths and weaknesses. I like to focus on the weaknesses for my personality type so that I can be a more well rounded person.

Employers frequently use Myers-Briggs personality tests to screen people for the positions that they are trying to fill. Being aware of what you are ahead of time can give you a lot to work with during a job interview, as you already know generally what they might be looking for and how your strengths can help.

It says things about you. Knowing you is the first step in knowing what you want. Knowing what you want is the first step in getting what you want. Getting what you want is the first step of TRP.

Semi-reliable. They are good for insight, but don't get stuck or obsessed with those, i heard most of the results can vary from day to day on the same person.

They seem to fit because there IS science behind them, but it's still a shot in the dark, since psychology is quite primitive (compared to neuroscience)

It seems to fit because you tell the fucking test what answer you want it to give you. It asks you if you're a rational person, then you tell it you're a rational person, then it tells you you're a rational person and people think it's fucking magic.

There is no such thing as a useful, reliable personality test, especially a self reported one. The closest you could get is to have yourself secretly subjected to 24 hour surveillance to see how you actually act.

I got the reference from the personality site from this sub. Learning yourself can help you improve. I'm also an INTJ. There's a lot of information out there on the 16 different types - just do your research and learn.
