Hello all, this is my first post on anything RP related. I have been reading TRP for a couple months, although a lot of it seemed to coincide with behaviors I had started to notice. I'm mostly on here to focus on self-improvement.

A little back story: I (21) have been chatting with a handful of women in university through tinder, facebook, in person, etc. I don't have confidence issues or any major attitude problems as far as I can tell. I like to be straight up, and have told a handful of girls up front that I am looking for FWB. This has landed me two plates and a potential third, however a few girls have been put off by the suggestion of FWB. This has been after reasonable IOIs and there were clear signs of attraction. So far I have been nexting these girls, leaving on good terms.

And so I ask TRP:

1) Had I approached them (the girls who declined) without using the term FWB, could they become plates if I had decided to just "go with the flow" and escalate to it more naturally? (One girl seemed very interested, asked me out for drinks, came back to my room, but wanted "to get to know me better".)

2) What have you been doing to set up an interested girl into a plate?
