I’m worried.

Long story short, I ended up dealing with a very duplicitous girl (we’ll call her G) who flirted very sexually for some time and then decided not to show up when I invited her over. She took things further by getting indignant that I would even be so silly as to misinterpret her completely and then tell people that she was basically coming over to fuck. (I never told anyone we were fucking, I merely told one person she was coming over to hang out). I can’t tell if she genuinely did want to fuck and just backed out after she thought eyes were on her, or if she just wanted to fuck with me for shits and giggles.

There’s a new girl in our social circle (B) who spent some time talking with G.

Now B is attractive. Easily an 8, and that’s if I’m being scrutinizing. Anyway, I’m gaming B, and having read and internalized The Rational Male, I have a better idea of what I’m doing.

Today, it appeared I had been doing something right, as she first offers to give me a ride home (not a sign really), does the majority of the talking on the ride to my apartment (still not strictly speaking an IOI except that was the first time I’d seen her that talkative), and says if I ever need a ride all I have to do is ask, (again, not an IOI, but very nice for someone I’ve only known for two days.)

I live in an apartment complex behind a movie theatre. On her way to the apartments, she drives a little too far down and misses the turn, and is outside the lot to the movie theater.

“Whoa, hey, you missed the turn. I don’t live in the theatres, but if you want to see a movie I’m down.”

She brakes, turns the car into the lot and asks,

“Oh, I left my card at home. What movie are you trying to watch?”

I was thoroughly shocked, but I pretended not to be.

“Let’s see what’s playing.”

Nothing interesting was playing, so she just backed up and drove me to my apartment.

A few hours later, at two am, I get a Facebook notification and a FB Messenger notification simultaneously. I check Facebook to see that she’s sent me a friend request. (I’ve never had a girl I found attractive friend request me first.) I check Facebook messenger to see “heyy” sent by the same girl.

“How are you still up?” I ask.

“Did I wake you?”

“Well of course not I never sleep.”

“Same. I was bored and wanted to talk to someone.”

A few moments later.

“I’ll leave you alone.”

I respond,

“It’s fine I just started reading something and got distracted.”

Then she says, and this is the weird part:

“It’s ok I’ll let you go. Message me anytime or snap me [her phone number, her Snapchat username].

Just like that. It was bizarre. She’s just added me on Facebook, and then she just throws her number at me like nothing. There are other guys in our circle and she hasn’t even bothered to friend request them, and if they’ve sent one to her, she hasn’t accepted it.

So I started wondering why the fuck she’s doing this. This has never happened to me in my entire goddamn life. And then I got worried that she’s talked to G about what had happened and this was some kind of set up to get me to do the same thing I did with G so they can make a fool out of me. Like I said I just met this girl and I don’t know the content of her character. Do you guys think she would be doing this to trap me? It seems way too good to be true. I’ve heard that girls will do all kinds of shit for guys they genuinely find attractive, but I just can’t shake this suspicion.

I can’t even be happy because I’m worried we’ll end up alone and then she’ll fucking accuse me of rape.
