I just realized that a sexual encounter I had a year ago could be taken to court, and I don’t have any defenses for myself. I’m doing this on a non throw away because I’m not a rapist, and everything I’m saying is the truth, but if this is and I didn’t know I’m willing to take the L.

First of all I’m not into anal or anything, and have been asked to do it several times! (Obviously declined). Fast forward me and this girl had sex everything was cool until I came over drunk & she gave me head.. She laid down & I got on top We took off her pants for sex, but me not paying attention went into the wrong hole. She didn’t tell me or let me know it was the wrong hole. I felt the difference, but the head she gave me was really sloppy so I figured the salvia + the vagina was making it feel a bit different. So I didn’t look down. Plus this has happened before well not full penetration but missed holes & immediately after I was told wrong hole. Ever since this encounter I’ve just told the partner to put it in herself, but anyways we finished and went to sleep Woke up the next day she walked me to the door blah blah blah She texted me about it Bringing it to my knowledge that we had anal sex, and it hurt. I asked “Why didn’t you say no or stop” her response was “that’s what I thought you were into” and I was asking her was she okay she said yes and left it at that. Eventually she blocked me and started ignoring me but I just let it go. I didn’t think anything of it because I figured only rapist get accused right? Fast forward a week ago I see a post about a girl who had a boyfriend who accidentally did the same the allegedly, and everyone in the comments was calling it rape, and how it couldn’t be an accident, and now I’m questioning myself because it was honestly an accident & she can still accuse me in court.

Unfortunately I don’t have the texts anymore because I cleared my phone beginning of 2020 and my iCloud has been backed up since 2017. I wasn’t thinking much of it

I know rape cases go back to he say/she say and on the surface it sounds like rape, but I honestly didn’t know and had she said anything I would have stopped and put it in the right hole. (We didn’t use condoms by the way).

If the time ever came is there anyway I could prove my innocence? Because the situation is making me nervous. What should I do going forward. Can someone help with the laws in FL?
