I think he's right. I got the feeling last year that the stock market was getting too high. I sold out and am in safe havens, treasuries and FDIC accounts. My job is safe. I have zero debt. That's the way to survive. I know the market rebounded but trust me it is called the "dead cat bounce", eventually there will be a sell off again. I believe the event that will cause the depression isn't the shutdown alone. There's a push to let states go bankrupt. That's really shortsighted. All 50 states are going to have revenue shortfalls but it's a blue red political football. The unemployment rate is around 20%, that will start getting better in the summer but then due to deficits states will lay off cops, firemen, teachers, office workers, unemployment will the jump over to over 30%. The market will realize we are in a deflationary spiral. Jobs that always had stability in previous recessions are then gone. Defaults in mortgages, car payments happen. The problem becomes no one can buy anything consumer demand dries up. After one or two states actually have to default there will be a crash like the Great Depression. Everybody thinks the biggest crash was October 1929, while that was huge there was a substantial rally in 1930 but then bank runs and mass layoff happened and deflation. The market just sank and sank. By 1932 the stock market was down 82%. In today's terms that's Dow 5,000. I'm 60 I made my money and it's safe but younger people will see 5-10 years of depression. I plan on putting 25% of my money in solid stocks in three to four years when it hits rock bottom. But trust me I am old enough I had grandparents who were adults during the Great Depression. It's unlike anything people now have ever witnessed. Even though I'm positioned well I'm dreading it because it will be hell.

The social distancing measures are going to absolutely devastate social spaces. The Coronavirus is a giant cover for implementing the UN development goal 2030 a big part of which is population and fertility reduction.

The same way human resources devastated men's ability to pick up women at work 2000 onwards this is going to devastate cold approach. You think people are going to stop wearing those masks anytime soon. No.

I think we have more sophisticated instruments than we did back in 1929 so I don’t think it will be quite as devastating if we do go into a depression.

I think it could be a good thing. Who’s going to post on Instagram when there’s nothing worth showing off in their life?

In terms of games don’t know don’t care. I’ve had my fair share already. What I do know is I’ll be better positioned than 99 percent of Americans if there is a major downturn.

More millionaires were made in the Great Depression than any other time.

Most obvious answer is, "game" will now be "positive net worth". Mass layoffs increase the number of available women. That's my contribution to economic science.
