This story starts almost 5 years ago - a girl (we'll call her M) and I matched on tinder. I was freshly out of relationship and had just turned 19 and looking for a fling. M messaged me daily after we matched and kept asking me to go meet her and see her which was 40 miles away. So I checked out her social media to find out that M was only 16 at the time. MAJOR RED FLAG. Instantly dropped her after finding that out.

So I deleted her number and kept her on my snapchat and instagram. Fast forward 2 years she posted her best friend on her snapchat - I swiped up and asked for her friends number; which she gave me. This girl we'll call Z.

Z and I went on our first date, everything went smoothly. As time went on and we dated for longer and longer Z would tell me that M was saying bad things about me etc etc. I let it slide because I figured she was jealous or angry... whatever. But at this point I've never even actually seen M in person or spoken a word to her. This continues for around a year and they both graduate from high school and proceed to go on to college. They go to different colleges so you know how it goes - they fall off. Nothing really happened, just a matter of distance. They still kept up on social media and messaged each other for advice here and there but nothing serious.

Fast forward to a year and a half ago, Z and I decided to end things. It was mutual and we just wanted different things in life. No bad blood there. I started dating girl A, which didn't last long but it did last long enough for her to tell me that M... who she went to school with was still saying things about me that just weren't true. That I had a kid, didn't make enough money, etc etc. A and I didn't last too long and I just ignored things that were said between her and M.

Moving to October of last year, I had been single from another for around 6 months at this point. I had a few plates that I was seeing but I was focusing on myself and this is when I found theredpill and started to initiate it in my life. I made a large friend group, started a company, went back to school. And I guess M noticed all of this because she messaged me asking if I would like to meetup sometime for coffee.

I'm not a vindictive person and to be honest... she seemly had everything I wanted in a potential girl. So I said yes. We went on a few dates and at the end of one of the dates we ended up fucking. Which was a big disappointment to me. But after I finished she immediately said she had to leave and I showed her the door. We slept together a few more times and each time she either asked me to leave right after or she left pretty soon after.

After a few weeks of this I asked her what was up... she explained that she felt guilty for sleeping with me after her ex-best friend had dated me for so long. I told her that's fine and we probably shouldn't see each other any more and she agreed. She texted me a few more times after that and I didn't respond to. The following weekend was Halloween and I had plans with abunch of friends to dress up as the characters from super mario and hit up a popular bar in our city. So I have been bodybuilding for a while so I went as shirtless mario and my buddy did shirtless luigi. Looked great at the bar and we got a bunch of looks all night. All around great time until M shows up and tries grinding on me on the dance floor. Now I had Z (the previous ex girlfriend) already booked for tonight so I pushed her off and made my way out.

I don't know if it was the drinks, coke, or what but I turned back and ended up taking her home. We slept together again and I fell asleep. A few hours past and I wake up to the sound of heels coming up my stairs and... it was Z (also the ex-bestfriend) that I had forgotten about and she came in and freaked the fuck out. She went berserk and was swinging at both me and M. I ended up carrying her out and putting her in her car and telling her to leave or I was calling the cops. She left and M asked me to take her home, which was the most awkward car ride of my life.

I tried to message M the following day to apologize for the whole ordeal and I found I was blocked. Okay easy out for me.

It's been almost six months since the incident and I was going through some mental issues with my family which lead me to speak to a therapist. Through his advice, he asked me to make a list of regrets and to list out any body I had wronged and to write them to apologize. Not some much for them but to get it out of myself and to allow myself to process it. So I did. Around 3 weeks ago I sent her a email stating I was sorry for the everything that had happened and wished her the best and explained my side of the evening.

Then today while checking the mail I see a letter from an attorney stating that I was harassing M and they were motioning to file a Protective Order against me for her. It said that she had told me numerous times to leave her alone and I was ignoring those wishes. I'm honestly just baffled at this whole ordeal but I want to see what my options are.

I have a lawyer I'm speaking to tomorrow - but this could ruin my reputation at the school that we both attend as well as hurt my business. Her claims are completely unfounded and besides me sending a email that got no response... I haven't been in contact with her since. I'm just confused about the whole situation.
