Hi all. I recently got out of a LTR that kicked my butt and I'm licking my wounds. I just met this girl who is probably a 7.5 on my scale. She gave me her number without me asking for it and told me to text her to set up a time to go out, specifically that. This chick is Korean, I'm white.

I read through a bunch of text game stuff on the expanded network of Redpill subs, and then texted her.

I know I failed in many ways, and this was just my first try. I'll post the interaction and then what I think I did right and wrong. Then if anyone is willing to critique, I'd be grateful. I know you get this shit all the time, and are probably tired of it.

Goal: Turn her into a plate

Me: Hey this is /u/redknightofthepill. It was good to meet you! Save my number.

Her: Yes sir! Are you using an iPhone? Your texts are coming weird.

Me: Nope, android. Lets meet up tomorrow at 3:30 at X.

Her: How Asian of you. I can't I don't get off work til 5 tomorrow.

Me: LGV10 all the way baby. Tell me a better time then.

Her: I can do any time after 5.

Me: Do you need to go home first?

Her: No.

Me: Ok where do you live?

Her: X place.

Me: What's good there?

Her: Y place.

Me: Ok I'll see you there at 5:30 tomorrow.

Her: no response

Next day at 4:00.

Me: Hey I'm going to be about ten minutes or less late. See you soon.

Her: That's fine, we can just do it another time.

Me: Wow. I thought you were on Asian time and 10 minutes would be fine ;)

Her: no response

Me: Attempted soft next

5:40, ten minutes late

Her: Hey are you at X place?

Me: Yeah (just fucking with her. I was nearby with a work colleague). Where are you?

Her: I'm stuck in traffic, I didn't know we were still meeting today. Do you still wanna meet up?

Me: It's up to you.

Her: I'm stuck in traffic.

Me: Well I can meet you somewhere else if you like or we can do it another time. (30 seconds later) Let's just do it another time, I can tell this is stressing you out ha :)

Her: nothing

Me: nothing

So here are some things I think I did good. She tried to talk about other things aside from meeting up, and I shortly addressed them and then redirected. Examples are my texts, Android, and my apparent Asian-ness. I also told her when to meet. When she couldn't do it at that time, I let her choose a time so I wasn't fishing in a barrel. I at least TRIED to soft next her after she started being weird. When she never really confirmed, I did the old pretending to be late thing to get her to confirm.

Things I did bad. We live about 40 minutes from each other, but I work in her area, so I'm around there all the time. Thing is, I'm not familiar with what's good around there, and I don't drink, so I don't know what's good around there and had to rely on her. Once she messaged me again at 540, I responded instead of not responding for a day or two for her low-level shit-test of not confirming and then pretending to be confused as to whether we were meeting up. So the whole subsequent conversation shouldn't have happened.

However, since it did, I also messed up parts of that. I could have bounced from where I was and made it over to where she was, and I acted like I showed up there anyway, even though she said lets not meet. I did that because I suspected that she might say something like that and my wang got in the way of my brain and I was thinking "it's still gonna happen".

When I was not concrete about whether to still meet up or not, but rather left it in her court, I think I failed. I was trying to act like it was no big deal for me either way, and after a while, it wasn't. But in the moment it was.

I'm not sure how the Asian comment went over. That was a callback from an in-person convo about Asian time that she and I had, but she didn't really respond to it.
