One view point is that its useless to have female friends because the relationship isn't worth maintaining, but on the other hand, showing up with attractive girls in your group helps convey the idea of pre-selection. So, how do you make the call to either next a girl or make her a friend? I'm not talking about a "LJBF" from her, but you actively making the choice that she's a better asset in the long run?
