Expand your vocabulary and improve your articulation/argumentation skills. As everyone said, just read more in general, read complicated, theoretical books about politics and argumentation and this type of thing, and keep practicing with yourself.

That's a habit that I always had, since my childhood, I often catch myself thinking about something complicated, as if I was explaining it to someone else or so. It's stupid, I know, and it can lead to a little bit of overthinking sometimes, but it helps me tremendously in how to explain to/argument with someone

if you believed in the things you were trying to express, i don't think you would have problems explaining them.
