I've been going on a lot of coffee dates as of late. These dates have been study breaks for me so I'm not trying to pull these girls, just get to know them and kill 45 min. I've been ending these dates by telling the girl something along the lines of, "Hey, I should be free next week. Let's get together again." I do this so I can gauge her response in-person.

The problem is I've gotten very enthusiastic, "Yes! Let's hang out next week" and then radio silence when I got to initiate. Or she flakes.

How should I be ending these dates? I remember reading something saying give no indication of when you will see them again, or let her worry the date went poorly and you're not interested. I have a feeling I may be providing too much validation when I ask to see her again at the end of the first date.

Thoughts? How do you end a date?
