Never forget that cars are always money losers. Get a reliable one you're relatively happy with and drive it to the ground. Spend as little as possible on cars.
Focus on saving/investing/managing enough money to retire by 40, so you won't ever have to work for money again. Look up the financialindepedence subreddit. Your financial freedom is priceless.
Or spend your money on traveling and gain some wisdom while expanding your world view.

If there is nothing functionally wrong with the vehicle you're driving now, you do not require a new car. Your ego requires a new car. Meditate more, and read the Enchiridion.
A fancy car can have the opposite effect that you're looking for. You don't want to be seen as a walking wallet to some bitch who sees the vehicle before she sees you. Be wary of most status symbols, because they can inadvertently broadcast you as a Beta Bucks.
Lastly, do not compare yourself to other men. Compare yourself to who you used to be and note your personal bests. You don't know the situations your fellow men are in, and can't use the vehicle they drive as the meter of their success in life. You have done well, as a young person, to save, let alone to save as much as you have. Do not change a thing.

Thanks for this. It's a bit old, but if it ran ok for the next year I wouldn't trade it. just scared it may break down/die on me.
However, are you saying that cars do not add to SMV? eg looks, status, wealth, frame & game - are cars excluded from this?
and yes you're right about the walking wallet - got to be cautious of this.

Cars are not excluded from SMV, but they do take a backseat to other items on the SMV list that are of much higher priority. Driving a Lambo while all your other shit is not in order sounds off for BB to women and mixed priorities to men. Putting it in perspective, this is akin to saying that a good jacket is important when going in the woods. Sure it is, but there are things that are far more important to the big picture. The availability of water. Shelter. Food. Fire. Et cetera. If SMV is your end goal, then you have to assess everything, and prioritize what matters over what doesn't.
Focus on you first. While you are young, manage your wealth with the intent of stability. You will not have forever to do this, so do it now while you have time. In terms of finance, not a lot of people get the chance to generate Fuck You money as you do now, and while 10% of your take home may not seem like much, it's a hard thing to justify when your current vehicle has no issues other than not being a panty wetter.
