Hey guys. I used this website (https://loseitirc.github.io/tdeecalc/) to calculate how many calories my body loses on the daily. I ended up with a BMR of about 1700 and a TDEE of a little over 2000.
Now, I go to the gym about 3-4 days a week (mainly lifting, no cardio) but I have a job that leaves me inactive for about 10 hours a day (sitting mostly). I work 40 hours a week and spend the time I’m not working at the gym whenever I can (again at least 3-4 times a week).
So my question is this;
If I were to go on a calorie deficit, which number am I going off of? As in I’m not sure whether or not I should calculate my calorie deficit from my BMR alone or somewhere in between my BMR and my TDEE as well. The days I work, I’m relatively super in active. Should I just start off somewhere in the middle? Like the number 1900 and just go from there? And how much of a calorie deficit can I get away with?
God damn, the idea of eating 1500 calories a day seems tough as balls. I’m pretty short but I can eat a shit ton and I get hungry really fucking easily, unfortunately.
Anyways, if anyone with experience can help me calculate this shiz, it would be much appreciated.
