You have to consider that the way women are, many times when they put on all that make up and stuff, it's to compete with other women. Not always to snag a guy.

Woman tend to have a lot of stuff to do to get ready especially when going out for a formal event. It shouldn't really bother you as long as they plan accordingly and can be ready on time.

I wouldn't think it strange unless my woman is occupying the bathroom for more than 45min.

The tons of selfies and Snapchat is a bit comical. I'd probably laugh if I saw her doing that excessively.

Well, I usually spend more time dressing up than my girlfriend does, so that's a non-issue. She does post a ton of selfies, especially when she has new ink, but whatever, we all have hobbies.
