Why can't the answer just be 'why would you ask that?'

When a girl asks you a question about some aspects she values, she's not looking just for the information, she's also looking for VALUE you hold, and more often than not, the value supersedes the information.

That answer doesn't give her information nor value. For naive chicks that's just ordinary, but as you grow older women start to lend meaning to these answers.
