Hey. Swallowed the red pill about 6 months ago, not a day has gone by where I wasn't glad I did. Once I started learning this stuff, I couldn't stop. I've read probably thousands of articles at this point on game, hypergamy, feminism, masculinity, weightlifting, inter-gender relations, etc etc. I've read everything in the sidebar multiple times and internalised most of it. I follow everyone influential in the manosphere, have read most of their books, etc. Love this shit.

I think deep down I always had a red pill philosophy and was confused by all these people running around making decisions that seemed illogical. Eg the husband who sleeps on the couch after a fight. The man who asks his girlfriend for permission to have a guy's night out instead of just doing it. The abused woman who keeps going back to her drug dealer boyfriend again and again. The people who get married to someone who's objectively not a good influence. I myself made a lot of bad decisions based on blue-pill philosophy, because society/family convinced me it was "the right thing to do". Reading RP gave me answers to a lot of questions I've always wondered about.

I've been lifting weights for a few months too, dropped a lot of fat, improved my relationship with my LTR (she comments on this positive change daily). I've finally given myself permission to work towards goals I've had for years but have always been too scared to chase. Finally admitting to myself that I'm worthy of accomplishing great things. I've cut out negative people from my life - my time is valuable. I have focus, direction, drive. I'm happy like I've never been before. Every day I wake up glad I swallowed that magic little red pill. RP has changed my life (and my girlfriend's) for the better in so many ways.

RP just makes sense, and in my mind, seems like a very positive philosophy. You read through RP and comments on manosphere blogs, and once people go through the "anger phase" of RP, they start making massive improvements in their lives. RP is overwhelmingly a positive thing.

Compare that with feminism, which is all about victim mentality and forcing others to bend the rules/invent new ones so you don't ever have to be uncomfortable for half a second, god forbid. Red pill is all about changing YOURSELF and growing and developing as a person. It's saying "Hey, the universe doesn't give a fuck about you. If you want something, it's up to YOU to make it happen." It's empowering. It turns boys into men.

Women (and men) who are feminists don't hesitate to tell you they're feminists; in fact, they'll often find a way to work it into a totally unrelated conversation. Or wear a t-shirt saying "I bathe in male tears." Even though feminism is objectively hypocritical, flawed, full of holes, dis-empowering, full of hate, spreads misinformation, etc. But people still aren't ashamed to align themselves with feminism.

Why's RP such a taboo topic then? Why do we feel the need to hide it and not mention it and use throwaway accounts?

My question is: If you're using a throwaway account for TRP, what are your reasons for doing so? I'm using my actual account (and it's pretty easy to find me based on it); in your opinion, is this unwise?

Would love to hear from anyone not using a throwaway account too: why do you use your real account?

Cheers.
