I go to a boarding school.

There are girls at said school.

I met a 7 and flirted hard and fast, got her number and was about to call her for a date (literally 30 seconds, as in I had her number dialed in).

Another guy on my hall just asked the same girl out, she said yes.

I'm slightly miffed, but I don't really care because abundance mentality does wonders (thanks TRP :D)

I heard her talking to an obvious alpha today, like I heard about 15 seconds of conversation, and she was telling him she kept on putting someone off saying oh I'm busy here and there.

Questions: #1 is should I do anything? I didn't get exact information, and gossip isn't a manly activity.

2 is if it doesn't work out between them can I go for it? It'd be a pretty fun score for me.
