So today I was talking to a girl of interest today, and before leaving for the day, I walked up to her to reaffirm our dinner plans for next week. When I made the plans, my intent was sort of ambiguous and a little bit DGAF. Out of nowhere today, I began to feel so what hollowed out, like I had lost my steam, and lost energy and presence. As a result, that loss of frame and power came out in our last interaction. I didn’t sound nervous; just tired and drained.
I know this may sound like bro science, but I really feel like having my head buried in code and books too long puts me into a beta-sperg frame of mind. It’s like I need a little bit of unwind time, to eat some protein, move or lift something, or have a beer and shake it off. But that dynamic or effect or whatever you want to call it is probably best saved for its own topic here.
So whenever you have found yourself losing power, presence, or frame in the past, what kinds of things worked for you so that you quickly recovered and bounced back? What are some Quickfix tricks or temporary power-ups that I can use to quickly get back in the saddle?
