quiting the safe route, im currently 26 years old and studying software engineering.

i hate university and nothing sounds worse to me than living life floating along getting my degree working for others and not achieving something worthwhile(in my eyes),doing what others need me to do and working till retirment unless i get fired sooner(thats what happened to my dad). in my view the most importent thing is what you do, and what you create (this is my view and not an absolute trouth) and i would hate to think i have created nothing in my life.

but i am realistic and understand im no stevejobs, i dont have a personality that matches my ambitions,i lack confidence and independence and to be honest balls, never in my life outside of the gym did i make a plan and follow through. so baiscly im afraid that if i quit i will end up 40 years old and living with my parents.

any advice on how to choose the right path,or maybe becoming the person that can take the hard.

thank you

p.s i know its not a very trp post, but i do think its a dilema alot of young men face and this will be a good place to get advice about.
