I was wondering if any of you have had a similar progression as me after consuming the Red Pill.

Background: I had gotten out of a relationship that I totally blew (lack of emotional control, mate-guarding, and a constant state of putting the golden egg before the goose). Afterwards, I went after 3 girls with a weak frame and the desire to have a relationship (at that point, I thought relationships were the goal). When I had my first taste of TRP, I was looking to go from an AFC to a PUA as quickly as possible. All I wanted was to be able to pull chicks at will and retain the power in a "relationship".

Something interesting happened as I began to sort through the sidebar and form a plan for becoming a man. I came to the realization that I had so much work to do on myself and my mission, I really shouldn't even be focusing on women at all. Now, it seems like women are completely pointless if you can learn to curb your sexual desire.

For the last year, I've been lifting (gained almost 30 lbs), meditating, eating right, networking, doing my best at NoFap, goal-setting and journaling. I feel like I've got a pretty good habitual foundation. At the same time, I've had my least successful year ever with women. Probably due to apathy on my part. Right now I just feel like the juice isn't worth the squeeze in chasing women and the type of women I can attract won't be very high given my status.

What are your guy's recommendations or experiences with this?

Is anyone else in my boat? I definitely crave sex, but every time I start to initiate things with a girl, I feel like I could better spend my time and energy elsewhere. The conclusion I've come to is to ignore my sexual drive completely and only focus on my goals. I just don't want to waste my prime years and look back on them filled with regret for what could have been.
