As a qualified psychologist I can suggest these little things that makes a massive difference: 1. Start exercising. Especially running and HIIT (Google high intensity interval training). It will boost your 'feel good' hormones, endorphins 2. Take a cold shower. It will boost your noradrenaline which in turn will boost your serotonin levels which are low when you have depression 3. I would advise you to get 5-HTP food supplements from Ebay. I'm taking "NU-U 5HTP" which is another amazing way to boost your serotonin 4. Get off the social media. Social media use is positively correlated with depression and anxiety 5. Avoid salty and sweet foods. 6. Try "guided meditation" videos on YouTube. Just lay down on your bed with the headphones and follow the instructions. It really helps. At first I was skeptical because I don't believe in spiritual BS but when you try it you see it really works. Damn, I've even tried the Chakra alignment and it was effective 7. This is the main and the most difficult thing. Try and think about what made you depressed and try to reflect upon how it affectex your personality development and what can you do to change that. It's the vicious cycle of "feeling - thought - emotion" that needs to be broken if you want to escape. Kind of unplugging from the matrix. Leave your comfort zone and kick yourself in the balls. It’s your responsibility to get this handled. This is your #1 priority. It is secondary to friends and women. Even though these are very important too.

Do your research. Don’t blindly trust the Doctors. Educate yourself on exactly which neurotransmitter(s) are causing a problem. Learn all that you can about the array of treatments, conventional and alternative. Avoid pharmaceuticals if possible.

Find others that are on the same path. Does this run in your family? This is a central part of your mission. Friends, male and female will show up as you go.

Depression is common and sometimes subsides over time. Good luck

Was feeling depressed few weeks ago because I thought it would be smart to get off my purpose. Huge mistake. If you don’t have a purpose in life depressed will kick your ass. Also hit the gym and take cold showers. Make sure you take in vitamin D & Zinc
